How Your Donation Works
From the moment a donation is received to the moment it creates change on the ground, every step of our process is documented, audited, and shared with supporters. Here is how we turn generosity into impact.
Identify
Our field researchers and local partner organizations identify communities experiencing acute food insecurity or extreme poverty. We use a rigorous needs-assessment framework — cross-referencing UN data, satellite imagery, and direct community surveys — to prioritize where our resources will create the greatest impact per dollar spent.
Fund
Approved programs are allocated funds from our general pool following review by our Program Committee. We maintain strict overhead controls: no more than 4% of donations are used for administration. Funds are disbursed to vetted local implementing partners under legally binding grant agreements with defined deliverables, timelines, and reporting obligations.
Deploy
Local partners — familiar with the culture, language, and terrain — lead program delivery. Our on-the-ground coordinators provide technical support, supply chain oversight, and quality assurance. Whether it is distributing emergency food parcels, running a school feeding program, or training local farmers, execution is rooted in community trust and local ownership.
Report
Every program concludes with a comprehensive impact report — including beneficiary counts, outcomes measured against baselines, financial reconciliation, and lessons learned. These reports are shared with donors through our online portal and published in our annual report. We do not hide failures; we analyze them and improve.
